Inside and yet outside...
Spending your holiday in our tiny houses is a special experience. Because the cottages are located by the water and in the middle of nature, you get the maximum experience of nature. Even when you are inside, nature is always visible. This creates a unique relaxed holiday atmosphere. Thanks to the compact layout, all comforts are close at hand and virtually everything is on the ground floor. On holiday park Ljeppershiem you will currently find three holiday homes. Each with its own capacity.
We rent our cottages from 3 nights. Check-in is possible on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you have any questions you can always mail/call us. Check-out is possible on any day.
Nature Reserve
Our vacation park is located in the middle of nature. Zwagermieden is a beautiful compact nature reserve of 390 hectares near Westergeest that you can explore on foot, by bicycle or by car. A watery area with meadow birds and numerous other bird species and winter thousands of geese. In the southern part trees, in the northern part a more open character with clay and reeds. Bike paths and roads make this an easily accessible nature reserve. The Ljeppershiem is situated in a habitat of very diverse birds. It remains a surprise which species show up. This differs per season, but it also depends on the weather and the moment of the day. For this reason our tiny houses are named after Frisian bird names.
